Holly Mumby-Croft of the Conservative Party has been elected as the MP for Scunthorpe with 20,306 votes.

The verification of the Brigg and Goole constituency votes has finished. 43,621 votes have been cast, a turnout of 66.2 per cent.

The verification of the Scunthorpe constituency votes has finished. 37,886 votes have been cast, a turnout of 61.2 per cent.

All ballot boxes have been received at The Pods from the 123 polling stations in the Brigg and Goole, and Scunthorpe constituencies. The verification of votes is continuing. It is expected to finish at 2am then the count will start.

The verification of ballot boxes has started. The last ballot box is expected to arrive from the polling stations at around 11.30pm.
