Over the festive season, care workers have gone above and beyond to ensure residents in their care enjoyed a Christmas to remember, performing wonderful acts of kindness, while following the latest Government guidance.
Registered Manager, Danielle Savage, shared one such heart-warming act at Wrawby Hall Residential Home, where residents received some extra special visitors.
“This Christmas at Wrawby Hall was a very special one. Some of our residents unfortunately do not have family and friends beyond their immediate neighbours and our support workers.
“Our care workers organised a scheme to ensure that nobody was left feeling alone. Sally, one of our care assistants, purchased all 32 residents a gift. Not content to just buy the gifts, Sally’s husband and son then visited the home dressed as Santa Claus and an Elf, lovingly distributing the gifts to our residents.

“This was a beautiful moment to witness, it was wonderful to see so many smiles on our residents faces. Sally and her family really went the extra mile to make a difference at a challenging time.”
