The council is working with the New Life Church on Brumby Wood Lane in Scunthorpe to provide a place for homeless people to stay overnight during the winter cold.
The church will be open three nights this week, plus extra nights if the weather is classed as severe.
The church provides a warm, safe place to sleep. Light meals and hot drinks are available, along with a change of clothes and hygiene products.
All other openings will be announced on the day, subject to weather conditions.
This week the church will open on:
- Tuesday 18 February from 6.30pm to Wednesday 19 February at 7.30am
- Thursday 20 February from 6.30pm to Friday 21 February at 7.30am
- Sunday 23 February from 6.30pm to Monday 24 February at 7.30am
Depending on weather conditions, the church may open other nights.
