Save the date! Discover@20-21 launches on Thursday 30 October – a place where creativity, science and imagination come together in exciting ways.

Step inside to find a colourful, hands-on space where young people can experiment, build, play and explore. From clever inventions and art experiments to creative workshops, every visit will spark new ideas and discoveries.

Designed especially for families, entry is free and Discover@20-21 is all about inspiring the next generation of artists, inventors, scientists and engineers.

Cllr Rob Waltham, leader of North Lincolnshire Council, said: “Discover@20-21 is a brilliant new space for families to explore, get creative and have fun together. It’s exciting, hands-on and totally different – a place where children can see how imagination and innovation can shape the world around them.”

Cllr John Davison, cabinet member for safer, stronger communities (urban), added: “This is another fantastic addition to Scunthorpe town centre – something that families can enjoy together and that makes learning feel like an adventure.

“It’s about creating opportunities, sparking curiosity and giving every child the chance to see just how exciting discovery can be.”

Housed inside the stunning Grade II* listed former church of St John the Evangelist, the new centre brings something new to the heart of Scunthorpe: a place where learning feels like play and curiosity leads the way.

Launch day is Thursday, 30 October, and Discover@20-21 will be open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm at the 20-21 Visual Arts Centre, Church Square, Scunthorpe.

Bring the kids, bring your curiosity, and get ready to discover something amazing!
