Young people in North Lincolnshire have until 31 July to apply for one of 15 new apprenticeship opportunities at Scunthorpe-based Lebus Upholstery.
One of the largest furniture manufacturers in the UK, Lebus currently employs nearly 500 people at their site off Brigg Road in the town.
The fifteen new apprenticeship places are open to 16 to 20 year olds, and the new recruits will start at the firm in September 2019.
Apprentices will work towards their Intermediate Apprenticeship level 2 in modern upholstery and are each guaranteed a position within the company, once they’ve finished their training.
Lebus Upholstery held an open day in June and around 30 prospective applicants came along to tour the site and find out more about the opportunities on offer. Young people who didn’t attend the open day are still welcome to apply.
