The council is calling on dog owners to be extra vigilant when walking their dogs in green spaces and local nature reserves following a number of incidents recently where dogs have chased and harmed deer.
Ground nesting birds have also been harmed by dogs recently.
It is an offence for people to allow their dogs to harm wildlife. Dog owners must keep their dogs under control for the safety of others and local wildlife.
If anyone witnesses wildlife being harmed, it should be reported to Humberside Police.
