Published fees for bereavement services

• Administration fees (per hour) – £45
• Fees for late burial paperwork** – £60 – ** late fees are applicable to late statutory forms and certificates, etc., which are not received at our Bereavement office by 3pm THREE full working days prior to the funeral service.
  This is to ensure Exclusive Rights of Burial are fully adhered to and that graves are prepared in a timely and safe manner; ownership must be established before a service can be secured and no transfer of ownership can take place until ownership is established.
  Please note that without prior authorisation, we are unable to safely process documentation submitted less than 48 hours prior to an arranged funeral and you may be requested to defer your service.
• Fees for Memorial Headstone in place at time of grave preparation** £75
  This fee will apply where a memorial headstone remains in situ and has not been removed a minimum of TWO full working days prior to the preparation beginning for a FULL coffin interment. The non-removal of a memorial headstone will incur delays in grounds operations.
• Fee for the removal of an unpermitted memorial or kerbing prior to grave preparation £150
  **Please note families will be given the opportunity to remove the memorial but must be within the permitted timescales (three days prior to a burial taking place).
• Fees for late CREMATION paperwork** £60
  ** late fees are applicable to late statutory forms and certificates, etc., which are not received at our Bereavement office by 3pm TWO full working days prior to the cremation.
  Please note that we are unable to accept documentation submitted less than 24 hours prior to a cremation and you will be asked to defer your service.
• LATE cancellation charge £150
  Applies to any service being cancelled, 72 hours prior to time of service.
• Genealogy search per contact £25*
  (initial enquiry is free of charge and must be submitted on our online genealogy form. Subsequent search(s) are subject to advertised fees)
• Consultation £85
  – and help with completing forms for independent funerals (burials or cremations).

  • Service fee includes 40 minutes use of chapel, one holding image, environmental fees attributed and for the strewing in the Garden of Remembrance at Woodlands Crematorium (Monday to Friday, if requested)
• Child, aged 17 years and under – £815.00

  • Service fee consists of 10-minute use of chapel (available 9:20 and 9:40 only), one holding image, 1 piece of entry music and 1 piece of exit music. Webcast/live streaming is not permitted.

• Garden of Remembrance witnesses strewing – (Cremation having taken place at another Cremation Authority, Monday to Friday)
