North Lincolnshire has an exciting and diverse arts scene. There are over 80 organisations working in:

• art
• craft
• literature
• music
• dance
• performance.

These include organisations such as:

• Indian Dance and Music Association
• Scunthorpe Co-op Junior Choir
• Crosby Textile Group
• Ropewalk Contemporary Art and Craft.

The council-owned 20-21 Visual Arts Centre recently became the first venue in North Lincolnshire to receive a Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Service Mark from the English Tourist Board. It offers a changing exhibition programme of contemporary art, a craft shop and café. It is located in the centre of Scunthorpe.The council also offers support and guidance for all artists and arts organisations working in North Lincolnshire.
