Open datasets published by the council

Below are all the open datasets that we publish in accordance with the Local Government Transparency Code. All the datasets in this section can be re-used in accordance with the Open Government Licence.

Other datasets are available through the Publication Scheme, and where possible, we make our data available in a format that allows you to re-use it. Our Access to Information Policy  [PDF, 1Mb] provides further detail on re-use of information.

A ‘Dataset’ means a collection of source data (usually presented in a table) in an electronic form where the majority of the data has been obtained to provide us with intelligence on services and/or functions. Datasets generally include raw, original data, with no analysis or interpretation other than relevant calculations. Usually there is no explanatory or comparative data. This would be published alongside the dataset if necessary.

Details of each individual item of expenditure that exceeds £500 and details of every transaction on a Government Procurement Card.

North Lincolnshire Council does not own Government Procurement Cards but publishes transactions on all corporate credit cards and charge cards on a quarterly basis.

See our Supplier Payments page for the latest and historical data for both expenditure exceeding £250 and details of payments made to suppliers using purchase cards.

Details of every invitation to tender for contracts to provide goods and/or services with a value that exceeds £5000 can be found on the YORtender website.

Details of invitations to tender for similar contracts with a value exceeding £25,000 can also be found on Find a Tender website.

Existing contracts can be viewed and filtered on the YORtender Contracts Store. Contracts awarded after 1 January 2021 and with a whole life value exceeding £25,000 can also be viewed on the Contracts Finder website.

Dataset detailing all of the land and buildings assets.

Local authority land [xlsx, 270Kb]

Fraud dataset detailing information about the counter fraud work.  The council can instigate their fraud powers several times during an individual investigation. For example the council may request credit data followed by bank data. Therefore the number of occasions the council uses the powers could be higher than the number of investigations conducted.

From 2 November 2015 fraud investigation has been undertaken on a shared service basis with North East Lincolnshire Council, and the data from this point includes both council tax reduction fraud and all other frauds.

For more information see our Counter Fraud Strategy and Reporting Fraud page.
