Council meetings make important decisions about local services, council policies, plans, ambitions and how targets are set and met. They also prioritise, monitor and review how government grant and local council tax is spent.

Please note:

1  In accordance with the Coronavirus Act 2020 (remote meetings regulations), all meetings listed are until further notice ‘remote meetings’ that is – on-line virtual electronic video/audio meetings.

Public participants/speakers at meetings will still be able to join meetings through Microsoft Teams on their laptop, ipad or similar device after receiving a secure invitation to their named email address. Advice on how and when to join the meeting and etiquette for remote meetings will also be provided).

Meetings where appropriate, can also be observed/listened to on a live public access link available alongside the relevant meeting’s agenda and reports on the council’s website’.

2  The Licensing Activities Sub-Committee and Licensing Miscellaneous Sub-Committee will only meet on scheduled dates when any relevant applications are required to be heard within statutory time scales. Overview and Scrutiny Panels also determine their own dates for meetings as and when business is required.
