Let’s Get Ready for School – Saturday 11 May 2024

Is your child starting primary school in September this year?

Families can prepare for this monumental event together at this year’s community event that is taking place on Saturday 11 May between 10am and 3pm at Scunthorpe Central on Carlton Street.

The annual event is designed to share key information and top tips with parents and carers to ensure they feel supported and have the information, skills, and knowledge they need for a successful transition to school.

May Day Funday – Monday 27 May 2024 -10am to 4pm

This year’s May Family Fun Day at Normanby Hall will include oodles of fun and entertainment for all the family to enjoy and will be the perfect way to start the school holidays.

With the fantastic 100% entertainment gang onstage, to make sure your day is packed with fun, with lots of music and fun games to play…this event is not one to miss!

There will also be a wide variety of stalls from across the region – selling lots of unique food and non-food products.

Full admission price applies, or entry is free to membership holders.

Stalls outside in Normanby Hall Country Park

Food and Flowers – Sunday 16 June 2024 -10am to 4pm

The event is situated in and around the Walled Garden area and is a more intimate event that celebrates our love of all things Food and Flowers.

Stalls offer locally produced food and drink as well as flora and outdoor garden ornaments.

Food stalls, from around the region, will be selling a wide range of tasty food, including meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free products.

There will also be cooking and floristry demonstrations taking place in the Walled Garden, (weather permitting), designed to help inspire you to perhaps create your own culinary delights or floral decorations.

Full admission price applies, or entry is free to membership holders.

Armed Forces Day – Saturday 22 June 2024 -10am to 5pm

North Lincolnshire Armed Forces Day is due to take place at Brumby Hall Sports Ground, Scunthorpe on Saturday 22 June between the hours of 10am to 5pm.

The event is our annual celebration and a thank you to our local Armed Forces personnel both past and present.

The event includes static displays, living history, cadet village, live music, entertainment, and activities for all the family and much more.

Party in the Park – Saturday 20 July 2024 – from 1pm

Are you ready to get caught in a Bad Romance? Headlining this year’s festival is Donna Marie, who will bring her multi-award winning tribute to Lady Gaga to Normanby. Just Dance to an electrifying set, featuring powerhouse vocals, a live band, and jaw dropping costumes!

Another global icon being celebrated at this year’s party is the prince of pop, Bruno Mars. Sing along to all the Hawaiian hero’s hits, including Uptown Funk, The Lazy Song and Marry You, in super fan Brandon Mazumder’s show, capturing Mars’ stylish moves and high harmonies.

Gates open at 1pm with a selection of local street-food vendors, fun fair rides, face painting and a full line-up of great entertainment.

Normanby Hall members can take advantage of a great discount, with tickets costing just £18.50 per adult and £12.50 per child.

Tickets for non-members are priced at £23.50 per adult and £17.50 per child. Entry is free to under-fives, but they do require a ticket.
