Start your year off right with New Year, New Me event at Normanby Hall

Normanby Hall Country Park is helping you kick-start your New Year’s resolutions this year with their free New Year, New Me event on Sunday 12 January from 11am to 3pm.

Get inspired with advice on achieving your healthy living goals, discover new hobbies with ‘give it a go’ workshops, find out about learning new skills and explore potential opportunities.

There will be a range of stalls including:

  • Action Station – helping people who may be looking for a new job in 2020
  • Details on memberships and facilities at North Lincolnshire leisure centres, Normanby Hall Golf Course and Scunthorpe Indoor Bowls Centre
  • Information on community participation and wellbeing
  • North Lincolnshire Museum Service
  • Go Ape at Normanby Hall
  • Skincare with Sarah – selling The Body Shop products
  • North Lincolnshire Library and Information Service
  • University Campus North Lincolnshire
  • North Lincolnshire Adoption Service
  • North Lincolnshire Fostering Service
  • Lincolnshire Vegans
  • North Lincolnshire Adult Education and Community Learning – find out what courses are available
  • Business Growth Hub
  • Dementia Steering Group
  • Barton written word group
  • North Lincolnshire Council Recycling Team

Activities will also be taking place throughout the day:

  • Adult Ukulele group from 11am to 11.45am
  • Reiki Spiritual Healing demonstration from 11.30am to 12.30pm
  • Robert Steadman – The Little Big Sing Session from 12pm to 12.30pm
  • Barton Muse poetry readings and Q and A from 12.30pm to 1pm
  • Fit-Ease fitness Pilates demonstration from 12.45pm to 1.10pm (bring your own mat)
  • Pig farmer to vegan presentation from 1pm to 2pm
  • Chair-based exercises from 1.20pm to 1.45pm
  • Presentation from the Museum Service from 2pm to 2.25pm
  • Chi-Ki coaching mindfulness workshop from 2pm to 3pm
  • Robert Steadman – The Little Big Sing Session from 2.30pm to 3pm (dementia friendly)
  • Chi-Ki coaching mindfulness walk from 3pm to 4pm

All stalls and activities are subject to change.

Entry to this event is free, with a £4 car parking charge for non-members or show your Normanby Hall membership to park for free.
