Burton Upon Stather Article 4 Direction

Glanford Borough Council (Burton Upon Stather conservation area) Planning Control Direction (no. 1) 1978

WHEREAS the Glanford Borough Council being the local planning authority for the district of Glanford in the county of Humberside are satisfied that it is expedient that development of the descriptions set out in the First Schedule hereto should not be carried out on the land specified in the Second Schedule hereto unless permission therefore is granted on application made under the Town and Country Planning General Development Order 1977.

NOW THEREFORE the said Council in pursuance of the powers conferred upon them by Article 4 of the Town and Country Planning General Development Order 1977 DO HEREBY DIRECT that the permission granted by Article 3 of the said order shall not apply to development of the descriptions set out in the First Schedule hereto on the land specified in the Second Schedule hereto.

First Schedule

    1. The enlargement improvement or other alteration of a dwelling house consisting of the construction of extensions not exceeding 50 cubic metres and changes in window types, door types, external facing material and roofing materials.
    2. The erection or construction of a porch outside any external door of a dwelling house.
    3. The construction within the curtilage of a dwelling house of a hard standing for vehicles for a purpose incidental to the enjoyment of the dwelling house, as such, being development compromised within Class 1 refer to in the First Schedule to the said Development Order and not being development comprised with any other class.
  1. The alteration or construction of any gates, fences, walls or other means of enclosure, being development comprised within Class 2.1 refer to in the First Schedule to the said Development Order and not being development comprised with any other class.

Second Schedule

Land within a designated conservation area and shown enclosed by a broken black line on the plan annexed hereto and situate in the parish of Burton Upon Stather.

The Common Seal of the Glanford Borough Council was hereunto affixed on the Sixteenth day of February 1978 by direction of the Council and in the presence of the offices below:
