After the admission of pupils with an Education Health and Care Plans where the school is named on the plan, the following criteria will be applied in the order set out below, to decide which children to admit.

  1. Looked after children and previously looked after children
  2. Children who live in the school’s catchment area
  3. Children who will have a sibling attending the school at the time of their admission
  4. Children who live closest to the school

Note: In 2016, although there were more first preferences than the number of places planned for, all the children were admitted to the school. In 2017 the children who were not offered places were those in category 4 who lived further than 1.070 miles walking distance away from the school. In 2018 the children who were not offered places were all those in category 4, all living further than 1.043 miles walking distance away from the school. In 2019 the children who were not offered places were those in category 3 who lived further than 0.593 miles walking distance away from the school and all those in category 4.  In 2020 the children who were not offered places were those in category 2 who lived further than 0.425 miles walking distance away from the school and all those in category 3 and category 4.
