Knit and Natter
Knit and Natter at the library is an opportunity to meet like-minded, creative people, and to discuss and share projects. It doesn’t matter what you make, or how simple or complex. You can sit and relax, create, and enjoy a tea or coffee. You can also browse and borrow from the library’s selection of knitting, crochet and craft books. Beginners and expert knitters all welcome; just drop in when Knit and Natter is happening.
Every Tuesday – Knit and Natter at Riddings Library 10am to 12 noon.
Every Wednesday – Knit and Natter at Scunthorpe Central 10am to 12 noon.
Every Wednesday – Knit and Natter at Barton Library 10am to 12 noon.
Every Thursday – Knit and Natter at Riddings Library 1pm to 3pm.
Socialise, share hobbies, play games, get crafty, or just have a cuppa and chat. Wellness Wednesdays is an opportunity to meet new people, enjoy their company and to take part in activities.
Every Wednesday – Wellness Wednesdays at Winterton Library, Local Link and Fitness Centre 2pm to 4pm.
Reading Friends: Newschat
Do you have something to say about the newspaper headlines? Would you enjoy talking about what is in the papers with other people, and listening to what they have to say? Why not stimulate your mind with some lively debate at the library?
Current affairs do not have to be boring or stuffy. Airing your views on whatever is in the public eye can be fun and light-hearted as well as thought-provoking. You can also relax in the comfort of your library and enjoy a tea or coffee whilst taking part in Newschat.
Every Thursday – Newschat at Scunthorpe Central from 10.30am. Drop in for lively debate about current affairs and whatever else the papers have to say.
