Covid-19 update: Frequently asked questions relating to Libraries

Joining the library is easy, free and open to everyone.

You can join online and reserve books straightaway.

Join the library

You will just need to click on ‘Join the Library, complete the online form and choose a Personal Identification Number (PIN) of four digits.

You can then collect your card from any library in North Lincolnshire, bringing one current form of name and address identification (ID).

In person

You can join at any North Lincolnshire library. When you do so please show us one current form of name and address ID, or a current library membership card valid for a different UK library authority.

If you do not have either of the above with you on your visit, you can still join the library on an ‘Introductory’ basis, which lasts for one month. After this time you need to bring either of the above.

Children under 16 years of age must have one of our child registration cards signed by a guarantor (parent or guardian), accompanied by one current form of name or address ID for the guarantor, or the guarantor’s own library card. There is no lower age limit for children joining the library.
