The successful collective switching scheme is now open for registrations to help save people time and money on their fuel bills by finding a better deal.

On average, households can save around £250 a year by signing up to the scheme.

Since collective switching starting in 2013, it has saved residents more than £100,000 on their energy bills.

Residents can register online by visiting the collective switching page.

It is free to register on the scheme. Registration is open now and will close on Monday 18 May 2020. The auction will take place on Tuesday 19 May 2020. Offers will be issued after Monday 1 June 2020.

Collective switching offers households the opportunity to sign-up to a scheme that allows the council to enter an auction with energy companies on their behalf, to secure a discounted energy price.

Around 97 per cent of households that have registered for the scheme benefited from savings.

The scheme is run in partnership with iChoosr Ltd, the UK’s leading provider of collective switching.

To request a paper registration form or for more information contact the council on 01724 297000 or email housing@northlincs.gov.uk.
