Five year Housing Land Supply Statement
The National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) (July 2018) requires local planning authorities to boost the supply of housing.
To help to do this local planning authorities should identify and update annually a supply of specific deliverable sites to provide five years’ worth of housing against their housing requirements, with an additional buffer to provide a realistic prospect of achieving the planned supply and to ensure choice and competition in the market for land.
The five year housing land supply statement sets out the council’s assessment of its supply of housing land over the next five years (from 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2024), having regard to government guidance on how this is calculated.
On this basis, the statement shows a supply of five years for North Lincolnshire.
