Fans attending the Scunthorpe United match tomorrow, 27 April at 3pm are urged to leave plenty of time for their journey due to the temporary closure of Doncaster Road (between Hilton Avenue and Berkeley Business Centre). If possible, fans are encouraged to walk to the ground.

Drivers should follow the diversion route along Scotter Road, Luneburg Way and A1077. No vehicles are allowed through to Doncaster Road via Hilton Avenue.

The stadium car park will be open and has over 600 spaces. This costs £3 per car.

People who are driving to get to the match should park considerately and safely.

Council staff and Humberside Police will be in the area assisting and ensuring parking does not cause issues to residents and other motorists.

Alternative off-street car parking is available at Kingsway Local Nature Reserve (old golf course), Central Park, Ridge Walk, behind the new university complex (Civic Centre) and Quibell Park (between 1pm and 6pm)

Free parking is also available in Scunthorpe town centre car parks. Catch the bus to the match on Service number 1 or 7, and walk from near Berkeley Circle.
