Work begins on improving the roads around Gallagher Retail Park on Sunday 20 October, starting with planing the road to make way for a new surface.
On Sunday 20 October into Monday 21 October, planing of the road will begin:
- Between 6pm and 6am (Monday) there will be traffic management in place between Gallagher Retail Park, Tesco and the Doncaster Road/Tesco roundabout. Staff needing to leave and enter will be assisted.
- From midnight to 6am (Monday) traffic management will be in place on Jack Brownsword Way. Staff needing to leave and enter will be assisted.
- Tesco petrol station will remain open.
On Sunday 27 October going into Monday 28 October resurfacing work will begin including reinstating a new carriageway, lines and antiskid:
- Between 5pm and 6am (Monday) there will be a total closure of the entrances to Gallagher Retail Park, Tesco and Tesco petrol station. Staff needing to leave and enter will be assisted.
- From 6pm, traffic management will be in place from Glanford Park to the mini roundabout on Jack Brownsword Way.
From midnight to 6am (Monday) there will be a full road closure on Jack Brownsword Way between Doncaster and the mini roundabout. Traffic management operatives will be available to escort patrons to Travelodge and McDonalds during these times.
