After thousands of votes had been cast and counted, the results of the 2019 General Election were declared early this morning.
Here is a break down of the results for the three constituencies that sit within North Lincolnshire.
Scunthorpe – Conservatives gain from Labour
- Holly Mumby-Croft (Conservative): 20,306 votes, 53.8% vote share, +10.3 vote share change
- Nic Dakin (Labour): 13,855 votes, 36.7% vote share, -15.3 vote share change
- Jerry Gorman (The Brexit Party): 2,044 votes, 5.4% vote share, +5.4 vote share change
- Ryk Downes (Liberal Democrat): 875 votes, 2.3% vote share, +0.9 vote share change
- Peter Dennington (Green): 670 votes, 1.8% vote share, +1.8 vote share change
Brigg and Goole – Conservatives hold
- Andrew Percy (Conservative): 30,941 votes, 71.3% vote share, +10.9 vote share change
- Majid Khan (Labour): 9,000 votes, 20.7% vote share, -12.2 vote share change
- David Dobbie (Liberal Democrat): 2,180 votes, 5% vote share, +3.2 vote share change
- Jo Baker (Green): 1,281 votes, 3% vote share, +1.7 vote share change
Cleethorpes – Conservatives hold
- Martin Vickers (Conservative): 31,969 votes, 69% vote share, +11.9 vote share change
- Ros James (Labour): 10,551 votes, 22.8% vote share, -22.6 vote share change
- Roy Horobin (Liberal Democrat): 2,535 votes, 5.5% vote share, +3.2 vote share change
- Jodi Shanahan (Green): 1,284 votes, 2.8% vote share, +1.8 vote share change
