In the new year, additional journeys will run Monday to Friday between Scunthorpe and Brigg via Scawby and Greetwell on bus service x4.
From January 2025, the new journeys will offer a faster connection between Scunthorpe and Brigg and offer more choice and convenience for residents of Scawby and Greetwell.
The enhanced service will run for an initial trial period until 31 March 2025.
Cllr Tim Mitchell, cabinet member for connectivity, said:
“I am delighted to see even more improvements being made to bus services across North Lincolnshire. This latest enhancement to bus service x4 will allow residents in Scawby and Greetwell to visit Scunthorpe and Brigg more easily.
“Keeping our communities connected across North Lincolnshire is a priority – we have listened to residents who wanted better buses and more options. It is vital that these services are used however to ensure they keep running.”
