North Lincolnshire Council’s Trading Standards have issued an alert following a recent leaflet distribution in local towns and villages.
The company Driveline have been delivering leaflets in and around the Barton and Brigg areas, advertising block paving and landscaping services.
The leaflets contain a North Lincolnshire Council logo and claim they are an official quote supplier to the council.
Trading Standards would like to make clear that Driveline are not affiliated with the council and are using the logo without authorisation.
Despite the council contacting the business, Driveline continue to make false claims, which is a criminal offence.
Please call Trading Standards on 01724 297000 or email: trading.standards@northlincs.gov.uk if you have had work carried out by this business or have any information regarding the leaflet deliveries.
