NL Active at Epworth Leisure Centre

Epworth Leisure Centre will be closed until 15 April 2024. The closure is due to the roof on the existing building needing to be replaced, and unfortunately it’s not possible to undertake this essential work whilst the building is open to the public.

During the period of closure Epworth Leisure Centre members can choose to upgrade their membership for no additional charge so that they can use any other NL Active facility, or suspend their membership. All members should have received an email regarding their membership, if you haven’t please email memberships@northlincs.gov.uk.

Epworth Swimming Pool will remain open as normal and you can find the opening times on their website.

Whilst Epworth Leisure Centre is closed we’ve moved some of our group fitness classes to The Wellbeing Hub on the High Street so that you can still keep active in the town. The nearest NL Active gym is at Axholme North Leisure Centre in Crowle. Find information below on the ‘project updates’ section.

Epworth Community Hub project

Basketball is a fast-paced game played by two teams of five players. It involves trying to pass and dribble the ball before trying to shoot the ball into a high mounted hoop to score.

A great sport for developing speed, agility, coordination and teamwork.

Our courts are available to hire for casual one-off games, block bookings or just to shoot some hoops with your friends. Each booking is for one hour on the hour.
