Here in North Lincolnshire we have a great tradition of markets stretching back over 800 years. From our vibrant general markets in Ashby, Brigg and Scunthorpe to Brigg Farmers’ Market, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Free parking

You get two hours free parking in all of our car parks and free parking every weekend – giving you plenty of time to explore our markets in Ashby, Scunthorpe and Brigg.

Market day: Thursday

Parking: Two hours free parking at any of our car parks in Ashby.

This popular outdoor market offers everything from delicious fresh fish, fruits and vegetables to freshly cut flowers and beautiful bouquets.

Items on sale include:

Market day: Thursday with a smaller market on a Saturday. Brigg Farmers’ Market is on the fourth Saturday of the month.

Parking: Two hours free parking close to the market.

Brigg’s traditional street market takes place in the heart of this historic town area and offers great quality, great value and great choice.

There’s a good selection of quality fruit and vegetables, Grimsby fish, home baked cakes, buns and pastries.

Items on sale include:

Quality seasonal plants and bulbs, affordable fresh flowers, greeting cards, jewellery, ladies clothing, cakes, fruit and veg, cheese and much more.

The Food Court is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 8am to 5pm. Access to The Food Court is through the Sky Bridge adjacent to Vue Cinema. Takeaways are available Wednesday from 5pm to 8:30pm, and Thursday to Saturday from 5pm to 9pm. You can find the Food Court traders on various food apps.

Parking: Two hours free parking is available in the Parishes multi-storey car park, and parking is free after 2pm and on weekends. There is direct access to St John’s Market from level two of the multi-storey car park over the Sky Bridge.

St John’s Market is North Lincolnshire’s biggest market with two floors bringing over 70 traders under one roof.

You will be amazed at the variety of produce on offer, including the freshest cuts of meat and fillets of fish prepared by our traditional butchers, greengrocers and fishmongers.
