Now the clocks have gone back, it’s a sign that Christmas isn’t far away! Why not get started on your shopping at the Christmas Craft Fair at Waters’ Edge Visitor Centre in Barton on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 November from 10am to 4pm.

There will be over 30 stalls covering the ground floor and upper floor at the Visitor Centre with wonderful ideas for Christmas. It will be the perfect way to start your festive season.

With free entry and a welcoming atmosphere, come along and browse the huge selection of locally made crafts and pick up gifts for friends and family ahead of the December shopping rush.

There will be a huge array of items on offer and you’ll be able to find some unique gifts.

Browse the stalls selling everything from jewellery and bags to candles and cakes. You will also find plants, scarves, jams and preserves, soaps, handmade children’s toys, Christmas decorations, paintings, wooden items and babywear – plus much more!

Some of the crafters will be able to take commissions for Christmas so why not give that extra special bespoke gift to your family or friends.

Family Hands will also be attending giving children the opportunity to create a unique piece of art using hand prints.

There is ample free parking for all and restricted parking outside the Visitor Centre for those with a disabled badge.

The Honeypot Café will be open serving a range of homemade meals.
