Payment disruption Wednesday 10 January 2018 

Service charges for card payments in the UK are about to come to an end and this has important implications for the council. This means that customers will no longer have to pay a service charge for using a credit card.

To allow time for the changes on the payment system to be applied, we will not be able to process online or credit card payments at any council building on Wednesday 10 January 2018. This will not affect payments made by debit card.

The system will be back online from Thursday 11 January 2018.
For the Touch Tone customers they will be redirected to another telephone number so their payment can be taken by an operator.

We cannot guarantee that any payments attempted on Wednesday 10 January by credit card will not incur a surcharge. If payment must be made on this date, please call us on 01724 297000 to arrange payment via an alternative method.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
