North Lincolnshire Tour of Britain Photographer of Year Contest 2017

Calling all photographers – get involved in our cycling in North Lincolnshire photography contest. You could be in with a chance of winning a brand new laptop!

Britain’s premier road cycling event, OVO Energy Tour of Britain is heading to North Lincolnshire on Tuesday 5 September when we will host the entire stage 3. What better way to commemorate this then by sharing your photos with us and entering this brilliant competition?

Make sure you are there on race day to get some great shots of the cyclists, crowds or activities.

Photographers of all ages and abilities are invited to submit their photos of cycling in North Lincolnshire and be in with a chance of winning.

We are looking for images relating to cycling in North Lincolnshire – whether it is photos from the North Lincolnshire stage of the Tour of Britain, pictures of you and your friends riding the North Lincolnshire sportive. Entering the competition is easy, you can:

  • Post your pictures on Instagram using the hashtag #NLTour2017

  • post your pictures on our Facebook page, NorthLincsToB

  • send us your pictures on Twitter, @NorthLincsToB and use the hashtag #NLTour2017; or

  • send us your photos via email to TOB@northlincs.gov.uk

Don’t forget to include ‘photography contest entry’ in your caption or with your email so you don’t miss your chance to win.

Entries must be submitted by midnight on Friday 29 September.       

All entries will be displayed at Normanby Hall Country Park during October half term.

The winner of the photograph contest will win a Lenovo Ideapad MIIX laptop. Two runners up will win a £25 Tesco voucher donated by Tesco Extra Scunthorpe or a HandyHeros High Definition Digital Sports Camcorder donated by Go Outdoors Scunthorpe.

Cllr Rob Waltham, Leader of North Lincolnshire Council, said:

“We have launched this photography contest to celebrate of North Lincolnshire’s stage of the Tour of Britain. I am sure we will capture some fantastic images from the Tour, the sportive or simply while out riding with their friends.”
