Cllr Carl Sherwood, cabinet member for Community Wellbeing, said:
“With many people aiming to get fit and healthy in the New Year, the group fitness classes at our leisure centres are a great way for people to do just that. With over 150 classes on offer across our five leisure centres, there are plenty to choose from.
“To enable us to provide these classes and support our health and fitness members, we need to ensure that we have qualified fitness coaches to do this.
“Fitness coaches play a vital role in supporting people on their fitness journey. If you have a gym or fitness qualification and want to help others get fit, why not give fitness coaching a go? You could make a big difference to many peoples’ lives.
“The fitness classes on offer suit all abilities and tastes, such as yoga and BodyCombat.”
