The council is offering fitness MOT sessions for people over the age of 50 to find out how fit they are compared to their peers.
There will be fitness MOT sessions on:
8 March from 10am to 2pm at Crowle Wellbeing Hub, 52 High Street
9 March from 10am to 2pm at Keadby Working Mens Club, Station Road
10 March from 10am to 2pm at Epworth Wellbeing Hub, High Street
11 March from 10am to 2pm at Scunthorpe Congregational Church, Ferry Road West
You will take part in a number of physical fitness tests for the team to identify your fitness levels. This includes looking at your flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, strength, balance and coordination.
The MOT only takes 20 minutes and you can just turn up to the sessions.
You can also get your blood pressure checked and receive lifestyle advice.

“The fitness MOT sessions are a great way of identifying how fit you are and finding out what you can do to improve your fitness levels. It will only take a short amount of time and could help you identify if you need to make any lifestyle changes. You don’t need to book an appointment; just pop along to one of the sessions.”
