FreshStart is part of the Universal Prevention Service for Adults. It works in partnership with many organisations across North Lincolnshire including Voluntary Action North Lincolnshire (VANL) local nhs services, Age UK, Carers Support Centre and community groups.
FreshStart provides activities and services to enable older people to live independently in their communities. These fall into three broad categories.
Information and Signposting
FreshStart publicises a bi-monthly free Newsletter which has activities and events listed as well as information and articles which may interest older people in North LIncolnshire.
FeshStart has a 50+ Directory which is a list of over 550 community groups and activities which may interest people over 50. This is updated regularly and can be downloaded, please see publication opposite.

Services
FreshStart works with its partners to provide preventative services across North Lincolnshire. These include Toenail cutting,Bathing,Shopping and Befriending. For more information please contact the FreshStart office on 01724 277906.
Active Lifestyles and Getting Together
FreshStart has a range of groups and activities which range from card making and a social craft afternoon to active circuits for over 50's and swimming lessons. FreshStart looks to reduce social isolation and encourage a healthier lifestyle in older people in North Lincolnshire. For more information please see the FreshStart Newsletter or Directory.
Volunteers
FreshStart is able to run its groups and services because of volunteers. For some it is helping make the teas and coffees at a group, while for others it is sharing the skill and passion for bowling. If you are interested in volunteering please contact FreshStart:
