There are four distinct commissioning strategies led by Adult Social Services. These are for:
- Older people (over 65 years of age)
- People with learning disabilities.
- People with disabilities and/or sensory impairment.
- Family Carers.
The strategies set out to describe the vision from which we can deliver the best possible outcomes for the people of North Lincolnshire.
The strategies also describe our commissioning intentions for the next five years. It is our intention to update these strategies year on year in partnership with the residents of North Lincolnshire and other key planning partners, who are all essential to making delivery of these strategies a success.
Our aim in commissioning is to put people at the centre of everything we do, so that we actively support choice and enable people to have control over their own lives.
These strategies are underpinned by the local Sustainable Community Strategy - 'Many Faces One Community' - and the council's overall strategic plan - 'Going Forward Together'.
The strategies are available in a technical and accessible summary version. Your comments are welcome.
