Far Ings National Nature Reserve

Set within the old Barton clay pits along the south bank of the Humber Far Ings National Nature Reserve is home to a wide variety of plants, birds and animals.

Within sight of the impressive Humber Bridge there is a new Visitor Centre that was opened during 2007. This has displays and activities based around the area's wildlife and panoramic views across the area.

The centre is open on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday afternoons.
