If you go into the woods today… The Brothers Grimm spin tales of wicked witches, talking animals, plucky maidens and dashing adventurers in this deliciously dark and thrillingly inventive show for adults and children alike. Music, magic, and some of the best-loved stories ever to have graced the stage.

Free Tour, 11am and 2pm
Learn more about the history of North Lincolnshire Museum and the Vicarage built in 1875. Museum assistants will be on hand to show you parts of the building not usually seen by visitors, and explain how the building has changed.
No need to book. Tours last around one hour. Refreshments available to purchase at the end of the tour.

Join Head Gardener Paul Beetham for an illustrated talk on the history of Victorian Walled Gardens and a guided tour of Normanby Hall Walled Garden.

Simon Mckeown
Motion Disabled
Simon Mckeown is an artist and researcher at Teeside University. For his Motion Disabled project he has been working with leading experts in CGI imagery to map the movements of a series of subjects with varying degrees of disability. The resulting video works mirror Etienne-Jules Marey’s mapping of movements or the body in the 19th century and is a fascinating and poetic insight into how disabled people move and encounter everyday situations and activities. Exhibitions are Free Entry and open 10am to 4pm Tuesday to Saturday.

Wheels of Wonder
Featuring work by contemporary artists and makers responding to, or inspired by the bicycle. This exhibition includes weird and inventive people powered contraptions, and art inspired by, or using movement and motion. The exhibition will include photography, sculpture, performance, painting and video, alongside work by leading designers and manufacturers with a selection of stylish, technological and wacky wheeled machines.

Set up by well known photographer Ian Clipson, this exhibition will include stunning shots of the tall ships on the Humber, cars, motorcycles and even a pigeon called Speckles who has been living at Waters’ Edge and thinks he’s a duck! Available to buy or order.
