Specific groups that have been brought together with the sole purpose of celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee but are not legally constituted may also be to apply for funding.
Application forms available from the Chief Executive, Civic Centre, Ashby Road, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, DN16 1AB or email simon.driver@northlincs.gov.uk.

Please note: the deadline for applications for street party road closure applications has been extended to Monday 14 May 2012.
North Lincolnshire Council will also light a beacon at Normanby Hall Country Park on Monday 4 June 2012, to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. It will be one of many being lit around the UK and the globe.
It will tie in with events already taking place on Sunday 3 and Monday 4 June at the country park to celebrate the Jubilee.
The council will light the beacon at 6pm. Admission is free after 5pm.
Cllr Liz Redfern, leader of North Lincolnshire Council, said:
“The Jubilee grants are a one-off funding scheme to help groups wanting to organise celebrations in their communities to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
“I’m sure many people are thinking of ways they can celebrate, but organising events doesn’t come cheap. A lot of time is spent planning for the event and with that comes the associated costs.
“The Jubilee grants will help towards those costs and will mean that thousands of people across North Lincolnshire can join in the celebrations and have a truly momentous occasion.
“Everyone is invited to watch the beacon being lit as part of the Jubilee celebrations.”
