Resurfacing work will lead to the night time closure of a stretch of Ashby Road in Scunthorpe for one week from Monday 23 April 2012.
Both sides of the dual carriageway section between the Queensway roundabout and Rowlands Road roundabout will be closed overnight between 6pm and 6am from Monday 23 April to the morning of Tuesday 1 May. The road will be open as normal between 6am and 6pm.
People will still be able to access The Pods leisure centre by road between 6pm and 11.30pm each evening while the work is carried out.
Between 6pm and 11.30pm on Monday to Thursday people can only drive to and from The Pods and Brumby Hall sports ground via the Civic Centre entrance and rear car park from the Queensway end of Ashby Road. Centenary Way will be closed.
Between 6pm and 11.30pm on Friday to Monday people can only drive to and from The Pods and Brumby Hall sports ground from the Rowland Road roundabout end of Ashby Road.
The road works will not affect pedestrian access to The Pods.
