“Come and talk to us or ring the school admissions team if you’d like more details. The school building seems to change almost daily at the moment.
“It’s very exciting to watch it evolve and we are very much looking forward to it opening in September. We already have a number of children who have been allocated places in our foundation stage class and we are keen to meet them and their brothers and sisters.
“There has been a lot of interest in the current vacancies; it’s a very exciting prospect to be part of a brand new school with the vision and drive that we have. We are attracting a strong field of talented people who are keen to play a role in making this school a real jewel in its community.”
Paul Thompson, Acting Director of Education for the Diocese of Lincoln, said:
“We are excited that our newest school in the church school family will soon be open to provide a first class education for local families. St Peter and St Paul CE Primary School will be a place which will bring the community together and children can flourish in a secure and caring environment.”
Cllr Rob Waltham, cabinet member for Adult and Children’s Services at North Lincolnshire Council, said:
“The open day on 9 May is a fantastic opportunity for people to find out more about this impressive new school.
“It has been designed to meet the needs of 21st century children and building work is progressing fast.
“Once completed St Peter and St Paul’s will be at the heart of this new community and will cater for more than 200 children.”

Notes for editors
North Lincolnshire Council is working in partnership with the Diocese of Lincoln Board of Education to provide the new school.
It will cater for 90 children at first and up to 210 once the housing development is complete.
Once completed St Peter and St Paul will join the family of church schools in the Lincoln Diocese.
North Lincolnshire Council’s architects designed the new school to meet the demands of delivering the 21st century curriculum.
Generous teaching areas are included and the school will have a supply of green heat from a state-of-the-art biomass boiler.
The design layout is based around a central, multifunctional ‘heart’ surrounded by teaching areas.
Outside there will be hard and soft landscaping to create playgrounds, outdoor curriculum areas and a junior football pitch.
The contract to build the school has been awarded to the Gelder Group Ltd and it will be built in two phases.
The first phase includes the hall, kitchen, office area, ‘heart’ and teaching areas.
The second phase will see the completion of the teaching areas to accommodate all 210 pupils.
About 800 new homes will eventually be built as part of the Lakeside development and the new school will be within walking distance of all the new houses.
