Winners declared in youth elections

Keaton Robinson, the new Member of Youth Parliament for North Lincolnshire, and Kal Alcock-Murtagh, the new Young Mayor.

Winners have been declared in the elections to find a Young Mayor and a Member of Youth Parliament (MYP) to represent young people in North Lincolnshire.

Kal Alcock-Murtagh, 17, a student at Caistor Grammar School, is the first Young Mayor of North Lincolnshire and Keaton Robinson, 17, a student at John Leggott College, is the new MYP.

Kal won 1,549 votes and Keaton won 1,719.

A total of 5,724 votes were cast by children and young people across North Lincolnshire.
