Get your dog chipped for free!

dog fouling
Come along to Greeson Hall, Digby Street, Scunthorpe tomorrow (Tuesday 12 June 2012) between 11am and 3pm to get your dog micro chipped for free!

The initiative is part of North Lincolnshire Council and The Dogs Trust drive to ensure pets are safe and can be traced back to their owners if lost.

Cllr Nigel Sherwood, cabinet member for highways and neighbourhood at North Lincolnshire Council, said:

“The offer came about following a road safety project involving St Lawrence Academy student s, when they also expressed concerns about stray dogs.

“Dog chipping can cost anywhere between £15 and £30, so this is a fantastic offer saving dog owners cash at a time when money is tight for many people.

“All you need to do is bring your dog along to Greeson Hall tomorrow (Tuesday 12 June) between 11am and 3pm and take advantage of this great offer while it lasts.”
