Business people from across the Humber are invited to discover how they can use social media and networking to promote their ideas and grow their markets.
Open Doors is part of this year’s Biz Week, the Humber Business Week, and takes place from 8.30am to 10.30am on Thursday 14 June at Forest Pines Hotel near Scunthorpe.
This one-off event brings together businesses and organisations from across the Humber to meet and discover the benefits of networking and social media.
David Doyle, from Redbox Multimedias, will deliver a workshop about using social media sites to generate more business.
Guest speaker Cllr Neil Poole, North Lincolnshire Council’s cabinet member for Policy and Resources and former chairman of the Federation of Small Businesses for North Lincolnshire and West Lindsey, will speak about the power of networking and how to work a room to promote your business effectively.
There will also be a speed networking session where delegates can meet and learn more about other businesses attending the event.
Open Doors has been organised by North Lincolnshire Council and North Lincolnshire Business Network.
To book a place, visit the Biz Week website and enter your details in the online form. Please indicate if you would like to book onto the optional online networking workshop or speed networking session.
