The search for Torchbearers started in May 2011 and selection panels were held across the UK in the autumn. Coca-Cola, Lloyds TSB and Samsung also held their own nomination campaigns.
Out of the applications submitted, over 7,300 Torchbearers have been selected and confirmed to carry the Olympic Torch across the UK.
