Fun and games workshop
Running every Thursday during school holidays our new for 2013 fun and games workshops offers children the chance to take part in creative play, drama and themed games.
Coordinated by one of our Museum Assistants experienced in theater and drama this workshop helps to encourage creative play.
All sessions are themed around a different topic including The Romans, Victorians, Tudors, Vikings and many more throughout 2013.
Workshops take place from 1pm to 3pm and are free (no need to book in advance). Just ask at reception on arrival.

Traditional craft time
Come along and learn how to make a range of traditional crafts inspired by our collections. Meet new people and share craft ideas. Crafts include, card making, crochet flower badge making, wrapping paper printing, gift bag and lavender bags.
Session run every Friday morning during term times, 10.30am until 11.30am. £4 per person, no need to book just turn up. Sessions start from 1 March 2013.
Free Sunday exhibition tours.
Enjoy a free tour of our current changing exhibition to find out more about the displays and objects on show. Ideal for all the family, running 2pm-3pm every Sunday. No need to book just turn up. Start 10 March, 2013 onwards.
Police Surgery
Running on the second Friday of the month between 2pm and 3pm.
Our new police surgery sessions gives local people the opportunity to drop in and speak to a local police officer about any crime related issues you may wish to discuss further.
Humberside police, protecting communities, targeting crime.
Hands on sessions
For adults with a learning disability
Have a go at our hands on activities including rug making, crafts, object handling, games and activities. Sessions run every Tuesday during term times only, at 10.30am – 11.30am, £3.50 per person, free for carers.

2013 New Museum quiz challenge
Take part in our brand new quiz challenge for a chance to win monthly prizes.
Ideal if interested in local history, or if you want to find out more about the history of North Lincolnshire via our gallery displays.
Why not take part during one of our late night openings on the second Thursday of the month when we remain open until 8pm.
A monthly prize draw will take place at 7.45pm every late night opening during 2013, the first correct entry drawn at random will receive a prize.
