Lifelong learning opportunities in North Lincolnshire libraries

  • Learn about the internet
  • Practise your word processing
  • Find out about local courses
  • Choose a career.

North Lincolnshire libraries can help you achieve all this and much more.

Libraries are great places to learn informally at your own pace, in your own way and at your own level.

All our libraries provide a range of books, which can help with courses you may be taking or your own personal interests. The libraries have information about local adult education classes. They also have information on careers and leaflets about events in your area.

Our libraries all have computer and internet facilities. This means that you can use library computers to do word processing, look at CD-ROMs and access the internet.

Computers can also be accessed in our mobile libraries. These do not offer internet access though.

North Lincolnshire Reference Library also has a range of information to help you decide on the right career. It can help with finding the most suitable university to go to and find out about funding.

Key resources include:

  • Student guides
  • Careers guides
  • Local adult education course details
  • National newspapers.

For more information on our resources contact the Reference Library on 01724 860161 or email ref.library@northlincs.gov.uk.
