Brigg Heritage Centre

Discover how the pretty market town of Brigg developed from an early crossing point on the River Ancholme into the town it is today.

Set in The Angel, a former 17th century coaching inn, the heritage centre is run by the community and showcases a unique collection of artefacts found in the local area.

Take a voyage of discovery through the ages, from the prehistoric period through to the present day. You can enjoy hands on activities and younger visitors will love dressing up in historic costumers or completing the games and activities on offer. You can also test your skills agains the interactive quiz and see if you can get full marks!
