Designer Jason Taylor has set himself a year-long challenge to make a new object everyday using everyday objects throughout 2012 - hence the title of the exhibition - 'Everyday Objects'.
Now over halfway through the project, Jason has uploaded images of every item he has produced so far on to his blog www.everydayobject.wordpress.com. Since the start of the year it has had over 25,000 hits and lots of positive responses from all around the world.
A selection of these objects will make up the core of the exhibition and a slide show will feature all 366 pieces. Jason also aims to develop several of his initial experiments into larger pieces for the exhibition, to illustate the creative process that he goes through.
The hire fee will be £1000 for an eight week period and will include;
- One way transportation.
- A selection of 'everyday objects' and plinths / display units.
- A slide show featuring all 366 'everday objects'.
- A video of the artist talking about the project and his work.
- A catalogue / calendar to accompany the exhibition.
- An education resource pack to accompany the exhibition.
- Text panels and labels.
The artist may be available for workshops and talks.
