Fun for all the family
20-21 Visual Arts Centre is a fun, safe and creative family friendly venue. We welcome children of all ages and have free daily drop-in activities for children and parents to explore the arts together. Creative adults and young people are also welcome to take part in our drop in activities in the gallery.

21 – 22 February
See what you can make with an old CD. A coaster, photo frame or a UFO.
23 February - 1 March
Create a charm of your favourite animal to add to a phone or bag.
2 – 8 March
Create springtime birds nest complete with a tweety pie.
9 – 15 March
Create your own animal/insect and capture them in a transparent box.
Magical Motion Fun Day
Join artists and 20-21 staff in an activity packed day to celibrate to opening of Sharmanka’s kinetic theatre and Jason Taylor’s Everyday Objects.
18 – 22 March
Inspired by Jo Smith’s exhibition create your own animal or insect and capture them in a transparent box.

Mini Magnificent Machine

Easter Bunny Ears
Make your own floppy bunny ears this Easter.
2 – 4 April
Easter Egg Basket
This Easter you will need to make this basket to keep your eggs safe.

Using everyday junk create a ridiculous contraption – what does yours do?
9 – 10 April
Easter Hat Parade
Create your own hat and wear it with pride this Easter.
11 – 12 April
Make your own weird and wonderful animal out of different animal parts!
13 – 19 April
Push me Pull you
Create a 3D moving weird and wonderful creature.
20 – 26 April
Create your own jigsaw puzzle from either your own portrait or one of the great masters.
27 April – 3 May
Create a friendly character from string.
Children must be supervised by a parent or carer during drop-in activities.

20-21 cannot accept responsibility for unaccompanied children who are not attending book-in activities and their safety cannot be guaranteed
Parents are welcome to attend book-in activities

Donations for free activities are gratefully received
