North Lincolnshire Sustainable Settlement Survey 2009

The main objectives of this study are to:

  • identify the settlements in North Lincolnshire;

  • provide contextual and demographic information for each settlement;

  • identify the key facilities present and the key services available to each settlement;

  • score each settlement against a list of sustainability criteria;

  • compare and contrast the sustainability of each of the key settlements; and

  • support preparation of the Local Development Framework via formation of an hierarchy of settlements potentially capable of accommodating future growth.
