It is vital that the Local Development Framework is soundly
based on a robust, credible evidence base. It will be this question
of ‘soundness’, which will be central to its
examination by an independent inspector.
In preparing North Lincolnshire's Local Development
Framework there are a number of pieces of legislation and policy as
well as studies that have been undertaken that provide the evidence
base. At present this section covers in particular the evidence,
which has underpinned the Core Strategy Development Plan Document.
As the Local Development Framework progresses and other documents
are prepared, this will grow.
This section is split into sections on national,
regional/sub-regional and local evidence/background studies. These
pages play host to, or provide links to the various evidence base
documents, which can be viewed, downloaded or printed.
The legislation, policy, studies and strategies that have been
used to inform the production of the Local Development Framework
are set out in the following pages under the headings below:
The Housing and Employment Land Allocations DPD Evidence
The Housing and Employment Land Allocations DPD is underpinned
by a wide ranging evidence base. Amongst the key documents which
are relevant to the DPD.
If you need to view full copies of any of the evidence base
document, you can do so by visiting the
