Evidence base and background studies

It is vital that the Local Development Framework is soundly based on a robust, credible evidence base. It will be this question of ‘soundness’, which will be central to its examination by an independent inspector.

In preparing North Lincolnshire's Local Development Framework there are a number of pieces of legislation and policy as well as studies that have been undertaken that provide the evidence base. At present this section covers in particular the evidence, which has underpinned the Core Strategy Development Plan Document. As the Local Development Framework progresses and other documents are prepared, this will grow.

This section is split into sections on national, regional/sub-regional and local evidence/background studies. These pages play host to, or provide links to the various evidence base documents, which can be viewed, downloaded or printed.
