North Lincolnshire Council issues licences for a range of things. These include:
- Approved marriage/partnership premises
- Boatman's licences
- Boarding kennels, home boarding, dog breeding, pet shops, zoos, riding establishments and dangerous wild animals
- Cosmetic piercing, electrolysis, acupuncture, tattoo, semi permanent skin colouring
- Club premises
- Gambling, adult gaming centres, betting (including tracks), bingo, family entertainment centres and gaming permits (AWPs)
- House to house, street collections, street trading and street activities
- Lotteries
- Premises (regulated entertainment/alcohol/late night refreshment/Temporary Event Notices [TENs])
- Personal licence (sell/authorise the sale of alcohol)
- Taxi drivers, hackney carriages, private hire operators and vehicles
- Scrap metal dealers, motor salvage and cooling towers
- Sex establishments
