Description
The cabinet is the part of the council which is responsible for most policy and some day to day decisions.
Legislation determines those functions for which the cabinet may not take responsibility and these are dealt with by Regulatory Committees or by officers under delegated powers.
It is made up of the leader and five councillors appointed by the council.
